For those interested in getting more involved with YNPN STL we have volunteer committee member opportunities available. The available positions are dependent upon the needs of the individual committees at the time of application. If selected, volunteer committee members must commit to a one year term and may re-apply at the end of their term.
YNPN STL Committee Descriptions:
Programming Committee: Develop YNPN STL's calendar of events and coordinates all event-related details (developing topics, coordinating speakers and venues and other event related logistics). Create and review event evaluations and shares resulting information regularly with the board. Responsible for planning monthly events which may include brown bag professional development lunches, networking events, members-only events, etc.
Marketing Committee: Creates and manages all communication and PR for YNPN STL programs and events with YNPN STL members and YNPN STL email subscribers. Identifies and develops partnerships with other organizations for cross-promotional efforts, collaborative programming, etc. Also finds opportunities for YNPN STL to represent itself within the community (organizational meetings, events, conferences, etc.).
Membership Committee: Manages YNPN STL memberships and represents YNPN STL at each event registration table. Responsible for recruiting new members, developing member relationships and organizational relationships within the community. Maintains communication with current and non-members before, during and post event. Represent and speak about YNPN STL membership at area universities, businesses, events, coffee with 9 strangers, etc.
