Now onboard at Venture Cafe, she is focused on activating the new Cortex Commons, a space dedicated to bringing the innovation community together outside.

Professional Background: I was lucky enough to start my professional career at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis as the assistant to the Production Manager after graduating from Saint Louis University (SLU). From there I went on to get my MA in Arts Administration from Indiana University and interned at Cinema St. Louis. Since I have worked at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and the Missouri Arts Council. These experiences really prepared me for grantwork at SLU and it’s great to be back where I started.

I am a Certified Public Accountant at a General Practitioner Firm. I serve as the Audit Manager and wear an additional hat as a Tax Senior during busy season. The firm works with all types of clients and industries, but I have developed expertise and specialization in the Accounting and Tax needs of Not for Profit organizations. I love helping Not for Profits with their financial records so that they can be good stewards of their donations and make the best decisions for their mission.

Professional background: My first job in the nonprofit sector was serving in AmeriCorps where I worked in Mayor Francis Slay's office on various initiatives promoting community service and volunteerism throughout the city. I then worked as the Membership Manager for Optimist International fro about 4 years. After finishing my Masters in Public Administration at SLU, I moved to my current position where I oversee all aspects of Habitat for Humanity St. Louis' volunteer program.
What is the background on your cell phone?: The background on my phone is beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia! It's an amazing medieval city on the southern coast of Croatia. I travelled there a few years ago, and it was so beautiful, I can't bring myself to take it off my phone.

Professional background: Cassidy is a proud graduate of the B.F.A. Acting program at Missouri State University. He currently serves as the Stewardship Officer at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Cassidy is also a professional actor and has worked with regional theaters including but not limited to Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Metro Theater Company, Max & Louie Productions, Equally Represented Artists, West End Players Guild, and the Civic Arts Company.

In her current position at RAC, she provides executive support to the Executive Director and also serves as liaison to the board of directors and Executive Leadership Team members, coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts, manages both the Summer Internship and Katherine Dunham Internship programs and oversees special projects. In addition to serving YNPN St. Louis, she also serves as a young professional board member for a Safe Connections.

After moving to St. Louis in 2015, Cody has spent time working on a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and serving as the Assistant Manager of a nonprofit resale store. Cody has worked in his current role at Youth In Need for over one year, Cody has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and will graduate in 2017 with a Master of Public Administration degree, both from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
