What does it mean to Blog Out Loud? – Share your ideas and passion through a short, dedicated presentation to Saint Louis peers and mentors. Then discuss, explain and workshop your idea with the audience in an open networking session, delivering you intelligent conversation and meaningful connections to help you shape the next chapter of your vision.

The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of St. Louis will be hosting the fourth annual Blog Out Loud to let individuals passionate about the nonprofit community be seen, heard and celebrated. In a TED talk style format, our leaders of tomorrow will showcase their vision for collaboration, community, innovation or progress.

Interested in presenting at Blog Out Loud? Here is a dose of inspiration to get you thinking:

What is something you admire? Why does it work? Successfully analyzing why a certain model works can help our community share knowledge.

What is not working? Why not? This is not an opportunity to rant but work through a broken or tired method and propose solutions to move forward.

What is the future? How will nonprofits change? Imagine the possibilities and give even the smallest seed of an idea room to grow.

These 5-minute presentations will inspire, educate and move the audience to think in a new way. As a benefit, speakers will be paired with a local nonprofit leader to help guide discussion and thought leadership during networking. Each idea should be passionate but please save pitching for another time and place.

To submit an application to present at the 4th Annual Blog Out Loud, please click the button below or follow this link. You will be required to provide personal information, a summary of your idea and presentation, and a short blog post surrounding your topic. Applications are due September 12th, 2014.
